Building a wash-day routine for healthier hair

A simple, repeatable wash day does more than any single miracle product.

Healthy hair is mostly rhythm: washing on a cadence that suits your scalp, conditioning where it counts, and protecting length from heat. Build the sequence once and it becomes muscle memory.

The sequence

Start with a clean base — a sulfate-free wash like Redken All Soft Shampoo — then a weekly mask such as Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask. On styling days, a few drops of Moroccanoil Treatment smooths and protects, and a heat protectant before any hot tool is non-negotiable.

Cadence beats intensity

Most people over-wash. Find your interval — every two, three, or four days — and let your scalp settle into it. Cadence tracks your wash days and nudges the next one, so the routine runs itself.

Keep your own shelf

Cadence remembers every product, routine, and refill for you.
